Hummm,, why this animal fascinating?? It's my final project object. I must like it (what a pathetic reason)
At first I hate this animal, more precisely : scared. Not scared to death, but scared enough to scream and run when I see this creature. But, fear can be conquer. First stage of my "healing process" was : put frogs picture wherever, in laptop desktop, in my room-next to my bed, in books I was reading at, bla bla bla. Next steps : touch the specimen, played it. And the last step is : touch the real one, but started from the juvenile, tadpole and then the small one and then the big one.
I remember the first frogs I touch is Hylarana chalconota (Schlegel's Frog). I smiled and smuggled when I hold it in my hand, but suddenly my friend interrupt the moment and I scream again. But, the most important thing in my healing process was my pride. If my professor find out that I'm scared: I'm dead.
Okay, seriously, after awhile, I realize how cute the animal is, how beautiful they are, how important they role in ecosystem. That's why I love them.
