When I read plinky new prompt : If you could talk to any historical person for advice, who would it be and why? NO ONE. I began with what advice I want and what I need. Why I need advice? Because I have problem, so I need an answer, and to make that decision I need choice. Advice is choice of decision. And I realize, I could seek advice anywhere – anytime – and from anyone, there are tons of advice around us. For example, a lot of quotation is advice. The answer for our problem is there. It's depend on yourself, could you make yourself embrace it? Would you hear that voice. Your own voice.
If I need to talk to someone for advice, I definitely wouldn't go to some strangers who didn't know me at all. I agree with vincenttuckwood answer. He said "Seek advice by all means, but seek it from people who know you, know what's happening and know what's important for tomorrow, not yesteryear". However great a person but if he doesn't know you and understand you then it could be useless. I prefer to talk with my best friend or my family, the people who loved me, they know me well.
Oh, but there is exception,,,if the advice are related to research and science thing, not personal thing, then maybe I would talk to some historical person🙂 Although I think the lived one could gave me advice, It's just a matter of how to find the right person for it.
Well, if the prompt is : If you could ask any historical person for answer, who would it be and why? I would give different answer, because I had hundreds of question for a lot of historical person.
